Licence
The Galvo Licence and the MIT licence.
Galvo Licence
This licence covers the source code, assets and documentation you receive through a Galvo Standard or Supporter plan (the "Materials"). Items published as free are licensed under the MIT licence instead.
1. Who may use the Materials.
A licence is for one person. Everyone who uses the Materials, including contractors and freelancers working for you, needs their own licence or must be covered by a team licence. A team licence covers up to the number of people it was bought for: 5, 10 or 100. For team licences, contact licensing@galvo.dev.
2. What you may do.
You may use, copy and modify the Materials to build any number of apps and websites ("End Products") for yourself, for your business or for clients. You may sell and distribute End Products, including compiled apps in app stores, and hand an End Product over to a client for use as that End Product.
3. What you may not do.
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, share or publish the Materials, in original or modified form, except as part of a finished End Product. This includes source files, repositories, packages, component libraries, UI kits, templates and starter kits.
- Use the Materials to build, train or supply a product that competes with Galvo, including templates, starter kits, component libraries, UI kits, and AI tools that generate apps or code.
- Publish an app that is substantially a Galvo game or item with little change. Submit apps under your own developer account, and change them enough to be your own product.
4. When your subscription ends.
You may keep using the Materials you received while your subscription was active, including in new End Products. Updates, new items and repository access end with the paid period.
5. Supporter extras.
Cortex materials are the viewer and searchable data about the catalog and games in your release, made for your AI agent. The docs, skills, notes and Cortex materials of the Supporter plan are for the licence holder's own use, or the use of the people a team licence covers, including with their own AI coding tools on their own projects. They may not be shared, published or resold.
6. Third-party components.
The Materials include third-party components, such as fonts, icon fonts and CanvasKit, that remain under their own licences. They are listed with their licence texts in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES. Keep those notices with any copy you distribute, and keep the licences screen in the apps you ship.
7. Ownership and ending.
Virendra Chauhan keeps all rights not granted here. This licence ends automatically if you breach it; you must then stop using the Materials and delete your copies.
8. No warranty.
To the extent permitted by law, the Materials are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Virendra Chauhan is not liable for claims or damages arising from their use except where the law does not allow that liability to be excluded. Nothing in this licence limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded by law.
